During May/June I (and possibly Neil) will be looking to get in a 90-minute ride in the evening, either Tues or Thurs.

Anybody who wants to join us will be welcome, it's likely to be 19:15 meet outside the Crouch End shop.

Woose. I'm doing them already, although not regularly yet as it's quite dependent on work and weather.

I did one ride last week of 1.5 hours into Herts. Good fun. It's amazing the number of noises you hear coming from the gloom at the side of the road. Also found that I had to dip my front light (the MTB one) as cars dipped theirs before coming around corners. Just shows how bright it is!

Only downside is that the light interferes with my cadence and speed sensors, so I end up riding at 80% Max HR but with 0mph.

Good idea. I would join the mid-week from time to time, preferably on Thursdays. George

You nutter!

With the conditions being what they are, I'm not keen on evening rides at the mo... think I may do a weekday spin class or something...

What can I say, I guess I'm just committed or should that be committed.

I really can't get motivated to ride a bike that doesn't go anywhere.
